Here's what we will not do: promise you a cure over the phone. Aggression has causes — fear, genetics, pain, learned behavior, no clear rules at home — and no honest trainer can tell you how far a dog will come without meeting the dog. What we can promise is a straight evaluation, a plan that fits your dog, and two decades of experience doing exactly this kind of work.

What We Work With

Why Board and Train for Aggression

Aggression cases rarely turn around in weekly one-hour lessons, because the dog spends the other 167 hours a week practicing the old behavior. In a board and train residency, your dog lives with our trainers and works multiple structured sessions every day: obedience under distraction, controlled exposure to the dog's actual triggers, and clear, consistent rules about what is and isn't allowed. By the time your dog comes home, the new response has been rehearsed far more than the old one.

Then we train you. Every residency ends with owner handover sessions so the rules and the results transfer to your house, your walks, and your family. With aggressive dogs, the handoff matters more than anything else we do, and it's the part cheap programs skip.

Programs and Pricing

5-day residency — $1,250. Mild reactivity, early guarding, or a dog that already has some obedience and needs a professional reset on one or two behaviors.

10-day residency — $2,400. Established leash reactivity, dog-to-dog issues, or fear-based aggression that has been going on for a while.

15-day residency — $3,450. Serious or multi-trigger aggression, bite history, and rehab cases. The extra days aren't padding — new responses need repetition across days and contexts before they hold under pressure.

We publish our prices because you should be able to see what this costs before you call. If a behavior creeps back in six months or three years, bring the dog back. Which program your dog needs is decided at the evaluation, not from a menu, and nobody gets sold 15 days who needs 5.

An Honest Word About Results

We do not guarantee that any dog's aggression can be completely eliminated, and you should walk away from anyone who does. What 20 years has taught us is that the large majority of aggressive dogs can be made dramatically safer, more controllable, and more predictable with the right program and an owner who follows through. Some dogs get all the way there. Some get most of the way and need permanent management around specific triggers. The evaluation is where we tell you which is more likely for your dog, and we'll also tell you if we think a veterinary behaviorist should be involved first.
